The GEOMETRY BALL series consists of three model members of theDIMENSION-6 family. DIMENSION-6 is a family of 3-D input and controlperipheral devices that enables users to intuitively manipulate 3-Dscreen objects. The patented force/torque control ball providessimultaneous user control of three rotational and three translationaldegrees of freedom with one hand.GEOMETRY BALL consists of GEOBALL mounted on a 10" x 4" ergonomic base,with eight programmable function keys. GEOMETRY BALL Jr. consists ofGEOBALL mounted on a 5-inch space-saver pedestal. GEOBALL is alsoavailable without a base mount, for custom console integration. Allmodels feature two programmable pick buttons, a variety of host dialogueand software protocol options, variable RS-232 baud rate options, and anextensive suite of C language software library routines to enable totalintegration with user applications. All members of the DIMENSION-6family are upward compatible.
